How do I write a blog that matters?

I’m trying to gather up to have the courage to write an honest blog. I started it to help others get through some of the “tough stuff” I went through. I keep wrestling with should I? Why would I want to tell everyone about my challenges? How do I make the leap?

People don’t want to be told what to do by a know-it-all. People want to be told what to do by someone struggling to do the right thing every day.

Leo Babaua: Tries to have a simple life every day and tells you how he’s doing it.

Seth Godin: Tries to think of one small, smart, new idea every day and teaches you to do it by watching him.

Me: Try to create a happy life even though I don’t even know what happy is.

People who are successful in blogging a teaching through doing. If you say “I was great at this,” then there is no story unfolding because you already know how to do it. So why would they watch you now?
