Have you considered getting lasers done for aging?

It looks like you’ve been putting retin-a on your face but not your neck, and now your neck looks older than your face. Something like Morpheus8 could help with that. I just think everybody should be doing IPL and such, since there’s no reason not to (besides cost and some pain).

No offense, it’s just my current obsession, and I’ve been having great results from the IPL.

I think my face looks as bad as my neck. I want to be done dealing with trying to stop looking old. It tires me out.

I used to do a lot of stuff to my face — like on a schedule. I cared a lot when I was in my 40s. I think it’s fun to care when you feel like you can still win. Having autism means we can only relate to the world like it’s a competition. We like what we can win at.

But there comes a point where it’s a lot of time and money to keep looking like you’re younger than you are. There’s sort of a cliff around age 50. Where the cost is really high. To make things look normal there need to be doctor appointments every other week. I have a couple of friends who look really amazing. But it’s a fulltime job. And they are always wanting me to go with them. I don’t think I have enough body focus to do that. I have a hunch (no proof) that the women who look amazing after 50 are the ones who had extreme body focus when they were younger too — they were always winning in the body department in some way.

This comment is not only rude af, it’s dumb advice. I just got IPL and the “laser technician,” supposedly the most skilled person at the place I chose, gave me a permanent scar on my face. IPL can hide signs of skin cancer until it’s pretty advanced and unless you go to an MD for treatment, no one is going to notice. There are a lot of reasons not to do things to your face. Plus, no one really likes Morpheus8. Read the reviews on RealSelf. It’s chic to let yourself age at this point because it means you are rich and have power. Chelsea Handler, Cameron Diaz … they aren’t getting facelifts as a way to say fuck you essentially. If you have money and/or the skill set to run companies, you don’t need to get work done. You just need it if you are still an underling, which, yes, is really sad, or if you are hellbent on upstaging other women your age, which is … fill in the blank. I would go with pathetic or tragic. Men are attracted to confidence, not looks, unless they are messed up upstairs and have something to prove to other men. A lot of people are wasting a lot of money for no real returns.

Haha where on earth is this person finding pictures of your face? I don’t think you’ve posted one in a long time. Unless this is someone from one of the webinars, I guess.

Yeah, it was a person in a webinar. I try to publish pictures of myself online petty regularly — otherwise I’ll wait so long in between that I’ll get gun shy.
